Welcome to my home page!
I am a PhD student at Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Georgia Institute of Technology since August 2002.
Before Georgia Tech, I attended Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at Bogazici University (undergraduate + ms). I was a member of BETA lab at Bogazici University and my research interests were mainly focused on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) and Computer Aided Design (CAD). After MS, I employed my VLSI and VHDL skills in an IC design project for Text-to-Speech Synthesis. I also worked as a lecturer for one year at Kadir Has University in Istanbul.
Currently, I am a member of two research groups: Cooperative Analog Digital Signal Processing (CADSP) since January 2003 and Georgia Tech Computer Aided Design (GTCAD) since February 2004. Both groups are located at Technology Square Research Building (TSRB).
When I first joined the CADSP group, I worked on preparing a test set-up for a matrix transform CMOS image sensor IC designed in the same lab. After that, I worked on design of a Light Adaptive Image Sensor IC.
Since I joined the GTCAD group, I have been working on physical synthesis for large scale Field Programmable Analog Arrays (FPAA). This research is funded by National Science Foundation (NSF) .
You can find more detail on my current and past research here.
