Biography
Brandon F. Lo (
) is a graduate research assistant doing research on cognitive radio networks under the supervision of Professor Ian F. Akyildiz at
Broadband Wireless Networking Lab. He is a Ph.D. student pursuing his doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the
Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include the joint design and the development of spectrum sensing and sharing techniques in cognitive radio ad hoc networks.
Before his doctoral study, Brandon designed and delivered processors and chipsets at Intel Corporation, video processors at BroadLogic Networks Technologies, and other digital signal processing chips in semiconductor industry. He holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a B.S. degree in Computer Science, with honors, from Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan. He is a graduate student member of the IEEE Communications, Computer, and Signal Processing Societies.
