Chong Han was born in Nantong, China, 1987. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, 2011.

Currently, he is a PhD student with the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz.

His current research is focused on Terahertz Band Communication, Millimeter-wave Technologies, 5G Cellular Networks, the Internet of Things, and Graphene-enabled Nanonetworks.

  • Graduated with Honor class 1 from School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, UNSW, 2011.
  • Australia's CSIRO Vacation Scholarships 2010 - 2011, awarded by CSIRO, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, an Australia's national science agency.
  • National ICT Australia Summer Scholarships 2009 - 2010, awarded by Australia's Information and Communications Technology Research Centre of Excellence and Faculty of Engineering, UNSW.
