Luis Miguel Cortés-Peña is a PhD candidate at Georgia Institute of Technology in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
biography
Luis attended CROEM at Mayaguez Puerto Rico, a selective high school in Puerto Rico, specialized in science and mathematics. After graduating from CROEM in 2002, he began the B.S. degree at Stevens Institute of Technology. In 2004, he transferred to Georgia Institute of Technology where he obtained the B.S. degree with highest honors in 2006. In 2008, he obtained the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Georgia Tech. Currently, he is pursuing the PhD. degree in the area of telecommunications at Georgia Tech.

Luis' research interests lie in MIMO systems for the interference channel in large networks.
