Term Project
In groups of 2 students, you will have to find information (block diagram, frequencies, standards, operation principles) and evaluate in terms of range, power, size, "ruggedness" and sustainability/"green" features one practical RFID system (e.g. logistics, container tracking, positioning RFID's, toll tags) or a group of practical RFID's (paper-based RFID's, metal-mounted RFID's, RFID's for liquids, global operability RFID's for supplu chain applications) . The preliminary project 10' presentations (choice of application, evaluation criteria, preliminary bibliography) will take place in the first week of March (10% of the total grade). The final project presentations (15') will take place the week of 4/26-4/30 (20% of the total grade). The 10-page project reports will be due by 4/29/10. (10% of the total work)
