Research Interests

Professor Feeney's current research interests are in computer-aided design and fabrication of printed-circuit phased-array antennas. Another project is directed toward the integration of advanced monolithic microwave integrated circuits with microwave antennas. One current project endeavors to create a novel beam-deflection vacuum microelectronic amplifier. Another research effort examines the electron field emission from oxide-metal composite materials and how these materials can be integrated into microelectronic devices. Dr. Feeney retains a long-standing interest in CAD techniques for RF and microwave circuit analysis and design.
