Biography
Francesco received his Laurea (equivalent to B.S.) in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni (Communication Engineering) from Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy, in July 2008. His thesis was on "Testing and Simulation Architectures for IMS Networks" under the supervision of Dr. Ilenia Tinnirello.
From March to August 2006, he spent six months at Universität Ulm, Germany, in the frame of the European exchange program ERASMUS.
Since September 2008, he is enrolled in the Laurea Specialistica program (equivalent to M.S.) in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni at Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
Within the ATLANTIS exchange project, he received the Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2010.
Currently, he is working on Nanonetworks in the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab, under the supervision of Pr. Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz.
