  • CETL 8793 Oral Skills for International Graduate Students – 2 credit hours - offered Spring 2007. English is the global language of technology, and this oral skills course is designed to help international graduate students become more accurate and fluent in both their verbal and nonverbal skills. In addition to acquiring an American accent when speaking English and becoming familiar with American body language, students will work on basic oral presentation skills. CETL 8793 is designed to address the areas of English that are particularly problematic for international students and to help these students develop the oral skills they need to succeed as electrical and computer engineering professionals. The workshop format of the course encourages student participation and maximizes instructor-student and student-student interactions.
