Welcome to the RF Venue Control project website, a project for ECE4180 Fall 2006 with Professor Jim Hamblen. Please use the links above for navigation.
Our project was to create a radio frequency implementation for use in concert halls and venues. The need for wireless communication in a venue is crucial for recording user entries and exits. Fire codes require that a venue not exceed a maximum capacity and venue owners often want to know how many patrons visit their venue in a given evening. Our project provides a wireless method of registering entries and exits by recording button presses over RF. An application stores these values in a database and provides statistical analysis over one event or several.
We hope you enjoy our site, and please contact us at the Team page if you have any questions.
