Overview The goal
of our project was create an LCD RSS Display. The idea was to have a quick and easy access
to latest news without the user having to get on the internet and searching
websites. A Phidgets
monochrome text LCD that connects to the Ebox displays the RSS feeds from a
precompiled list of RSS websites.
The user can change topics or RSS websites with a remote control. The remote control signals are
received with an IR receiver built on a serial interfaced Cypress Board.
