The Overview

The goal of this project was to develop a USB interface for a 4 line, 20 character LCD panel. In addition to developing functions to access the display, a user application was developed in order to demostrate the possible uses for the LCD. The interface and application was developed with the Windows XP operating system in mind, but it will work with other Microsoft Windows versions which support the USB interface.

The Group Members

The group consisted of two members, Doug Bennett and Cody Garvin. Doug handled the hardware portion of the project, as well as developing some of the functions used to interface with the LCD panel. Cody developed the user application, and worked with Doug in developing the functions to interface with the LCD panel.
