Hengzhao Yang received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2013. He obtained the M.S. degree in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008 and the B.S. degree in Optoelectronics from Chongqing University in 2005.
Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab under the supervision of
Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz. His
research focuses on wireless underground sensor networks.
