Jeannie S.A. Lee

My main research interests are in multimedia information retrieval, semantic computing, user-interaction, and pervasive mobile computing. My Ph.D. work focuses on multimedia for mobile devices, using a mixed-initiative approach and demonstrating tradeoffs between various mobility parameters. Understanding the behaviour of these constraints allows us to predict and optimize user centric information transfer despite limited resources.
