What is Electrical Engineering?
Electrical engineering is a broad area that deals with the applications of electricity and magnetism. This includes, for example, electric circuits, radio frequency (RF) engineering, optics, digital signal processing, electric power generation, biological electrical systems, telecommunications, and micro- and nano- electronics.
Electrical engineering at Georgia Tech is broken into 9 different technical interest groups (TIG). The different areas are listed below with links to streaming video presentations. Moreover, if you would like to read an article that highlights an example of an ECE research area, then click here!

Bioengineering

Bioengineering is concerned with the application of engineering principles to the study and control of biological processes.
