Personal Biography
J. Stevenson Kenney was born in St. Louis, MO in
1962. Dr. Kenney has over 14 years of
industrial experience in wireless communications. He has held engineering and
management positions at Electromagnetic Sciences, Scientific Atlanta, Pacific
Monolithics, and Spectrian. In January, 2000, Dr. Kenney returned to Georgia
Tech as Assoc. Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His current
research interests are in RFIC design, communication systems design, and high
frequency simulation techniques. Dr. Kenney has been an active member of IEEE
Microwave Theory and Techniques Society for 14 years. He is currently Chair of
the Santa Clara Valley chapter of MTT and serves on the MTT-S Administrative
Committee. He is also serves on the Editorial Board for the Transactions on
Microwave Theory and Techniques and Microwave and Guided Wave Letters. He
served on the International Microwave Symposium Steering Committees in 1993
(Atlanta), and 1996 (San Francisco), and has served on the IMS Technical
Program Committee from 1996 to 2000. Dr. Kenney is also Co-Chair of the RF
Components Technical Working Group of the National Engineering Manufacturing
Initiative. Dr. Kenney has authored or co-authored more than 20 technical
papers and conference presentations in the areas of acoustics,
microelectronics, and microwave design.
