BIOGRAPHY
Kaushik Roy Chowdhury is
a PhD candidate in the department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of
Technology. He is a Research Assistant under Prof.
Akyildiz at the Broadband Wireless Networking (BWN)
Laboratory, since Summer 2006. His PhD thesis is on
the design of Communication
Protocols for Wireless Cognitive Radio Ad-hoc
Networks. He completed his MS in Computer
Science from the University of Cincinnati in 2006.
His master’s degree dissertation, advised by Prof.
Agrawal, was awarded the Outstanding Thesis award by the
ECECS department.
