"making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity"

Projects

1) HyperTransport Switch Design and Implementation
with Prof. Sudhakar Yalamanchili

2) Fast Interval Router
for ECE8813a with Prof. Sudhakar Yalamanchili
Interval Routing Scheme was introduced to reduce the size of routing tables with increase in the number of nodes in the network. The routing tables now contain the intervals associated with each output port of the node, rather than the address of the each of the nodes. This project dealt with the development of an interval routing scheme. The interval router was implemented in Verilog and simulated using Modelsim. [pdf]

3) Network on Chip Router to Enhance Interprocessor communication
with Sharad D. Bade and Mandar S. Bodke

This was the senior year project during my undergraduate studies. In this project we had designed and implemented a router network to speed up interprocessor communication. The network was based on the concept of Network on Chip (NoC). VHDL was used to code the design. It was implemented on Spartan 3 FPGA. Data transfer between four Intel 8085 microprocessors was demonstrated using our network. I was involved with the actual design of the network and coding of the routing logic. [pdf]

4) Bessel Functions and their applications in Telecommunications
with Sharad D. Bade, Mandar S. Bodke & Prof. A.S. Desai
This project dealt with the study of Bessel Functions. The mathematical aspects of the Bessel functions were studied. Moreover, the various forms of the Bessel Functions including Bessel functions of second kind were derived.
