Dr. Linda Wills received her S.B., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Wills' primary research interests are in embedded computer vision and surveillance systems, software understanding and retargeting for embedded systems, parallelizing multimedia applications, and innovative computing systems education.
Dr. Wills was the first recipient of the Demetrius T. Paris, Jr. Professorship in ECE. This award was created by the ECE Advisory Board in honor of Dr. Paris's outstanding service to the School of ECE and to Georgia Tech.
Dr. Wills leads the dual-degree mentoring program Partners in Transitioning to Tech. She is a 2007-2008 Hesburgh Award Teaching Fellow. Her professional service includes:
Dr. Wills is a senior member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society, and a member of the ACM. She received an NSF Career Award in 2001.
