Biography
Mustafa Alper Akkas was born in 1982 in Seydisehir, Turkey. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Erciyes University in 2006. He is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at Ege University. His research interests include wireless underground communication networks, mobile ad hoc and wireless sensor networks and network simulation tools.
Currently, he is a visiting student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab under the supervision of Pr. Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz. His current research is focused on Wireless Underground Communication Networks.
