Research Interests

Professor Begovic's current research interests are in the general area of powersystems, and more specifically in modeling, real-time monitoring, and controlin power systems with efficient control algorithms. He participated indevelopment of synchronization techniques for distributed measurement systemsand data acquisition for high-speed monitoring. Current research includesharmonic effects and measurements in power systems, reliability of distributionnetworks, and application of digital signal processing to power systemprotection.
