Mission Statement

To deliver a truly revolutionary and robust compiler toolset for the MONARCH architecture while exceeding customer expectations, including meeting all milestones, deliverables, and customer support requests on time or ahead of schedule.

Informal Policies

Walk into Rick's Office
Rick sends email, asks questions
Periodic meetings (often triggered by formal, regular meetings)
clear, concise communication
- flag potential problems early & clearly
- do not assume; instead ask & verify!
Punctuality - be on time! Keep scheduled meetings or call as soon as problem arises
Take notes in meetings (should not have to repeat comments in next meeting)
Keep in mind Robustness; e.g. it's better to support 14 features thoroughly and robustly than to support 28 features halfway

Weekly status meetings
Biweekly build
Quarterly XMONARCH and/or Morphware Forum Meetings
15 scheduled office hours per work week, minimum 2 per weekday (flexible remaining 5 hours)
- Office hours and vacation will be posted on personal webpage, linked off the XMONARCH internal webpage.
Friday afternoon code walkthroughs
All critical/important concerns flagged to Rick: Rick may flag further to Vince, etc.
Biweekly meetings with Rick and Vince
