About Me: I am Salman – for most part of my life (so far) I lived in Lahore, Pakistan. I grew up there, studied there. What else … I received my B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore in December 2004. Since fall 2006 I am in Georgia Tech for the graduate studies (PhD). Research: I am working in the area of Compressed Sensing / Compressive Sensing (CS). Our main interest is to understand sparse signal / image models and experiment with different reconstruction techniques for the fast and efficient recovery of signals / images from compressed measurements.
