Biography
Sepideh was born in 1985 in Tonekabon, Iran. She got her Bachelors degree in Telecommunications from the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Tehran,on July 2007. Her Bachelors thesis was on "Synchronization Techniques for Ultra Wide Band Systems" under the supervision of Prof. Said Nader-Esfahani.
On September 2007, she started her Masters in University of Massachusetts Amherst . She conducted research under the supervision of Professor Dennis L. Goeckel and Professor Hossein Pishro-Nik towards her masters thesis on "Information Theoretic Identification and Compensation of Nonlinear Devices".
Currently, she is a PhD student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is working as a research assistant of Professor Ian F. Akyildiz in the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab. Her current research is focused on Cognitive Radio Networks.
