Shih-Chun Lin was born in Taipei, Taiwan (R.O.C.). He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2008 and a Master of Science in Communication Engineering in 2010, from the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering, both within the National Taiwan University.
Currently, he is a PhD student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab under the supervision of Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz. His research interests include Cognitive Radio Networks, Queueing Theory, Statistical Scheduling in Wireless Systems, Software-Defined Networking, and Underground Sensor Networks.
