ISCA99 welcomes you to an evening at the Fernbank Museum of
Natural History. You are welcome to stroll through the exhibits, have dinner in the Atrium and watch an IMAX movie. The museum features four permanent exhibit
galleries, revolving
exhibits that change every several months, a naturalist center
which is a public laboratory, childrens exhibits, and an IMAX theatre.
5:30 -
6:30 Buses
start departing from the Atlanta Hilton & Towers. Buses will run from 5:30 pm
until 6:30. The Museum is about 15 minutes from the hotel, traffic
permitting.
6:00 -
7:00
Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served in the museum lobby. You can get something to
drink, a bite to eat and
stroll through the museum exhibits. A layout of the
museum will give you an idea of
the current contents of the exhibit galleries.
7:00 -
9:30 Buffet
dinner will be served in the museum Atrium. Take time to have dinner in between
visits to the exhibit
galleries and then stroll into the star gallery for
coffee and dessert.
8:00 - 8:45 IMAX Movie: T-Rex. You have your choice of two IMAX movies.
9:00 - 9:45 IMAX Movie: Wolves.
10:00 - 11:00 Buses shuttle attendees back to the hotel. Buses start loading at 9:45. The last bus will leave at 11:00 pm.
