Thao Tran is a PhD student at the Georgia Institute of Technology where she obtained her Bachelor's and Masters in Electrical Engineering in 2002 and 2003, respectively. Her research interests include bioinformatics and genomic signal processing. Her advisor is Dr. G. Tong Zhou. She is currently doing research at the Computational Systems Biology Lab (CSBL) at UGA under the direction of Dr. Ying Xu.
