About Me:

I was born in Madras (Chennai), India. I received my primary and secondary education in various cities in India and my Bachelor's in Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Nirma Institute of Technology (Ahmedabad, India) in 2006. I completed my Master's Thesis under the guidance of Dr. Russell Mersereau and received my Master's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta in 2008.

Currently, I am employed with Texas Instuments, Dallas. I completed my PhD thesis under the guidance of Dr. Anthony Yezzi at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. I was part of the Lab of Computational Computer Vision (LCCV), headed by Dr. Anthony Yezzi. I have previously worked as a research intern for three summers at Texas Instruments (DSPS R&D center), Dallas and one summer at GE-Global Research, Bangalore.

My research interests are primarily in the fields of computer vision and image processing with a special focus in the areas of Copmutational Photography, Image Segmentation, Active Contour Models, Prior-based Segmentation Models, Optical Flow/Motion Segmentation, PDE-based Methods and Level set based Methods.
