Research Interests

Professor Hunt's current research interests are focused on the development of ACT devices. He is particularly interested in the impact of acoustic considerations on the design of new device structures. Included in this work are theoretical and experimental work on the details of surface acoustic wave (SAW) propagation in piezoelectric semiconductors. Other research areas include the development of biomedical ultrasound transducers for non-invasive tissue characterization and the development of improved SAW devices.
