• My current research interests are in signal processing, wireless communications, and networks, including

o   Signal processing for communications and networks

o   Signal estimation algorithms

o   Coding theory

o   Wireless communication theory

o   Sensor and ad hoc networks

• My past research areas have included
• Wireless communication theory
• Space-time coding for broadband wireless communications
• Control of multivariable nonlinear systems with joint backlash, flexibility and damping
• Adaptive control for systems with unknown nonsmooth nonlinearities such as dead-zone, backlash, hysteresis in actuators and sensors
• Robust adaptive control in the presence of uncertainties and failures
• Distributed network and virtual enterprise
