Gaofeng Yue was born in Dengfeng City, Henan Province, P.R.China. He received
his B.E. in the Electrical Engineering Department from Shenyang Polytechnic
University in 1992, M.S. in the Department of Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1995.
Since 1995, he worked as a research and development engineer at Shenzhen Zhongxing Telecom Corporation.
From August 2000 to May 2001, he studied at
Arizona State University as a Ph.D. student. He is currently a research
assistant in the School of Electrical
and Computer Engineering at the Georgia
Institute of Technology, pursuing his Ph.D. degree under the guidance
of professor BIING-HWANG
JUANG. He is also a student member of the IEEE and the
Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).
Gaofeng Yue is currently working on a project dealing with multiparty conferencing and collaboration over packet-switched networks. His research interests include multicasting algorithms and protocols, multimedia communications, QoS in multiparty scenarios, network architecture and evaluation.
